Dr. Jason Robert Beck Endowed Scholarship in Film Scoring

The scholarship will support a student pursuing a Bachelor or Master of Music with an option in Commercial Music focusing on film scoring. This scholarship is in honor and spirit of the works of composers, such as Ennio Morricone, Bernard Hermann, Vangelis, and Cal State LA Alum Lennie Niehaus, whose scores and films by distinguished international directors made them the world’s most versatile and influential creators of music for the modern cinema.
