Mary Ann C. Moore Scholarship

The Mary Ann C. Moore Scholarship is to be awarded without restrictions on class level (graduate, other post-baccalaureate, or undergraduate) or major. The basis for the award will include excellence of scholarship, financial need, and service in academic governance. A minimum of two quarters in residence at Cal State L.A.; cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better for a minimum of 12 quarter units in residency if post- baccalaureate. A minimum of one quarter of satisfactory service in academic governance at the College or University level. Academic governance bodies include the Academic Senate, its standing committees and its subcommittees, School Assemblies or Councils or Forums, and their committees and subcommittees. Student organizations are not included, even though students’ appointments are made by Associated Students. Auxiliary organization board are also not included.
